Artesia offers multiple connections between Paris, Rhône-Alps and Italy.

Three day TGV connect Paris Gare de Lyon to Torino Porta Susa and Milano Centrale.

Two night trains connect Paris Bercy to Firenze Campo di Marte - Roma Termini and Milano Centrale - Venezia Santa Lucia.

The daily day services offer connections to Bardonecchia, Oulx, Vercelli and Novara.

The night connections also go to Brescia, Verona Porta Nuova, Vicenza, Padova and Piacenza, Parma and Bologna.

The main assets

Artesia offers an accessible tariff range to all, that appropriately meets the expectations of the clients. In TGV, Artesia proposes a single Paris - Milano from CHF 39.- in 2nd class and from CHF 78.- in 1st class (Prem’s tariff).

In TGV trains, the passengers can go to the Bar coach for meal formulas, hot meals, sandwiches or drinks only.

The night Prem’s offer proposes a single from CHF 55.- in sleeper compartments for 6 and CHF 195.- single per person in sleeping-car T3 (subject to conditions). To benefit from the best tariff in sleeping-car, you should book 30 days before the date of departure at the latest.

By night Artesia, sandwiches, snacks and drinks are offered in the bar. In the restaurant coach full menus and à la carte meals and breakfast in the morning are served.

In a night train, the clients have access to the sleeping-cars or sleeper compartments for a quiet night on board of the Artesia trains.

  • Sleeping-car: cabins with 1 (single), 2 (double) or 3 beds (T3) for relaxation and privacy. Wash basin with toiletry accessories and power point are available in the cabin. A breakfast, consisting of a hot drink and a croissant is served in the cabin with the daily papers
  • Sleeping-Cars Space for 4: ideal for travel with friends or family.
  • Sleeping-Cars Space for 6: cabins for 6 persons accessible to any budget

 

Exchange

In all the SNCF stations and shops

Under which conditions:
The Artesia tickets are exchangeable depending on tariff: 

  • Three times before departure, if you hold a normal adult or child ticket.
  • Once before departure for the Youth, Senior, Disabled tickets.
  • Once before outbound departure for Leisure tickets.
  • Once for the Discovery for 4 and Week-end tickets with respectively 10% and 20 % deduction*.

The Prem's and Mini C tickets are non-exchangeable.

*The fee is calculated on the price of the initial journey

 

Refund

You have bought your ticket on www.tgv-europe.com

You are in France: Confirm your seat availability before the departure of your train, in a SNCF shop or on 36 35 (0.23 €/min): you will avoid a fee. As soon as the booking has been cancelled, return your ticket to the SNCF customer relations service (address below).

You are outside France: Confirm your seat availability before the departure of your train in a Rail Europe- SNCF shop or have your seat re-booked in a CFF, SNCB, NS, CFL station: you will avoid a fee. As soon as the booking has been cancelled, return your ticket to the SNCF customer relations service.

Under which conditions:

The Artesia tickets are refundable

  • By 100 % before departure and by 90 %* after departure, if you hold an Adult, Child, Wheelchair user ticket.
  • 100% before departure for the Youth and Senior tickets.
  • 100% before outbound departure and 50% deduction after outbound departure for Leisure tickets.
  • With 90 % and 80 % deduction respectively before departure for the tickets ‘Discovery for 4’ and for Week-end tickets.

Guaranteed time promise

Did your Artesia train reach its destination more than an hour later than the planned time?

If the delay is imputable to Artesia*, a compensation in the shape of a «Bon Voyage» (travel ticket) SNCF/ARTESIA is offered to the passengers for any purchase of train tickets issued by Rail Europe and the SNCF counters.
